Greendyes® Technology
Molecule
The Greendyes ® molecule is made from an existing one in nature, which we break down until we can alter its structure and add sustainable pigments
that give it characteristics such as colour.
This new material that we have created has the ability to transport colour, adhere to the fabric and re-polymerize again, covering fibres completely with colour.
Dyeing Techniques
DIFFERENT TYPES OF TECHNIQUES CAN BE USED FOR DYEING TEXTILES WITH GREENDYES ®
Garment Dye: Dyeing the garment once it is already finished.
Piece Dye: Dyeing the fabric before manufacturing the garment.
Yarn Dye: Dyeing the yarns before the fabric is created.
Fibres
Fibres that can be used with this technology
Natural Fibres: Cotton, linen, wool, bamboo, hemp or silk.
Synthetic Fibres: Recycled polyester or recylced polyamide.
Bio-Synthetic Fibres: Lyocell, viscose, PLA, fibres coming from natural sources such as banana, soya or pinneaple.

Machinery needed
The Greendyes ® goals are not only to provide sustainable pigments, but also to improve the dyeing process so that there are savings in water, energy and time. Therefore, our effort has been to develop industrial processes that can be done with existing machinery, so that there are no needs to produce specific tools to start using this dyeing technique.
