GREENDYES Dyeing Process is completely new.

The search for excellence in terms of efficiency.

process

  • Total time needed: 1hour
  • Cycle in cold (reduction of 75% of the energy consumed)
  • Recycling 100% of water
  • No toxic effluents (only vegetal and mineral raw materials are used)
  • Applicable in a wide range of fibres
  • Wide color palette
  • Maximum colorfastness to washing, sunlight, perspiration and rubbing

WHY NATURAL DYES WERE NOT USED BEFORE IN THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY?

1.- The classical ways of naturally dyeing takes a long time (from 24 to 48 hours)
2.- It consumes a lot of energy (60-80ºC)
3.- Although pigments are natural, the process is chemical (most mordants are toxic)
4.- A lot of raw material is needed (300% of the total weight of the fiber …, causing deforestation).
5.- The origin of the raw material is difficult to control: true ecological crops, fair social labor…
5.- It is difficult to process the raw material, generating a large amount of industrial waste
6.- Low colorfastness
7.- There’s no uniformity in the colour
8.- Low repeatability
9.- It cannot be applied to large volumes: maximum 10m of fabric, maximum 50Kg of garment per time.
